What your resting heart rate is telling you
One number, taken before you get out of bed, says more about your week than any workout summary.

Before coffee, before your phone, before anything: lie still and count. Your resting heart rate is the simplest measure of how your body is coping, and it costs nothing to track.
What a good number looks like
There is no universal good number. Most adults sit somewhere between 55 and 75 beats a minute, and fitter people tend to be lower. What matters is your own trend. A number that drifts down over months means your heart is doing the same work with less effort.
When it jumps
A rise of five beats or more above your usual is your body raising a hand. The common causes are short sleep, a hard block of training, a cold on the way or a stressful week at work. It does not mean stop. It means today is a Recover day, whatever the plan said.
How we use it
Members log their morning number in the app.
Three raised mornings in a row and your coach gets a nudge.
The next class is swapped for something easier, without any drama.
Training is the stress. Rest is where you get fitter. Your resting heart rate is how you know which one you need.

Zone 2 feels too easy. That is the point.
Most people train their easy days too hard and their hard days too easy. Here is how to tell, and what to do about it.

Your first class
is on us.
Come fifteen minutes early. We fit a strap, find your maximum with a short ramp test and show you round. Then you train.
