Max: bag and sled

Short, loud and over quickly. Sprints, sled pushes and heavy bag rounds with full recovery between.

What happens

Thirty minutes, and only about four of them are truly hard. You sprint a sled, hit the heavy bag or ride flat out for twenty to thirty seconds, then rest until your heart rate is back in Base. The rest is the workout. Go again too early and the coach will make you wait.

Who it is for

Members who have built a base and want a top gear. It is short, loud and oddly joyful. One a week is plenty.

What you will notice

  • A higher top speed on every machine.

  • Faster recovery between efforts.

  • Nothing left to be annoyed about.
