Jonah Achebe

Run club

Marathoner, pacer, optimist. Has never once left anyone behind.

Experience

Coaching since 2018

Background

UKA run leader, 2:41 marathon

Jonah started running at thirty to keep a friend company and has not really stopped. Twelve marathons later he is the reason Saturday mornings at Thres are full.

He leads Long run club and the beginners' block, and takes real pride in the fact that nobody has ever been dropped off the back of one of his groups.

Ask him about

  • Running your first ten kilometres.

  • Pacing by heart rate rather than by watch.

  • Where to get breakfast afterwards.
